Today I was formally certified to share the gift of Qigong. Trust me when I share with you that the folks at Holden Qigong are not giving those certificates away. I don't think I've ever studied harder for anything - including the three years I spent studying photography. The certification required 200 hours of training - and I probably ended up applying a hundred or two hundred additional hours because it's my nature to deep dive - not just based on my opinion but also based on a Chinese five-element personality test.

I'm now enrolled in Tier 2 teacher training to someday become a senior instructor. That will require an additional 300-400 hours of training and traveling. I put that at about two years from now - but it would perhaps be un-Taoist to attach to such an outcome.
